Dream Journal Vol. 4: A Lost Route and an Encounter with Miss K

This dream was absolutely packed, and as usual, the plot shifted all over the place without any warning. I’m not even sure if some of these parts were actually from the same dream or if I had transitioned into different ones, but it all felt like one single sequence. It went from a bicycle trip, to getting lost in a place full of foreigners, to a motorcycle race, and finally to a moment where I crossed paths with a figure I recognized as Miss K (the Kuntilanak).

At the beginning of the dream, I was out with Annuru and Vivi on a folding bike. Somehow, the three of us managed to ride on a single bike (literally three people crammed onto one folding bicycle). Initially, I was the one who suggested going out to grab a bite at a warteg (a traditional food stall) or some place like that, though I can't recall where our original destination was supposed to be.

We eventually arrived in an area where the landscape was surrounded by mountains. The air felt cool and crisp, and it actually seemed like a really nice place, but for some reason, we ended up not eating there. I’ve forgotten why we turned back (all I know is that we headed back to look for an alternative route).

As we searched for another spot, I managed to give a few recommendations. We finally found a place, but getting to it required a rather bizarre method. The path looked like it cut through a rice field, and we had to step onto something resembling bamboo, which was then pulled by a rope to get us across to the other side.

Annuru and Vivi weren't having it. Probably because it was too much of a hassle, plus it was already nearing 6:00 PM. So, we skipped that place and decided to go to a spot Vivi recommended instead.

We kept going, but instead of reaching our destination, we got completely lost. We ended up in an area I didn't recognize at all. Strangely enough, the place was packed with foreigners.

I then asked Vivi where she thought Annuru wanted to eat. Out of nowhere, a foreigner chimed in and answered my question, acting as if he was part of our conversation all along. Since we were already talking, I ended up having a conversation with him.

After chatting for quite a while, I realized that the area was actually full of train tracks. It was incredibly bustling, and there were crowds of people everywhere. If I recall correctly, inside the dream, I mentioned that the place was located in S, and there was a university campus there as well.

After that, the three of us intended to head home. The problem was, we took the wrong route again and had to pass through an incredibly crowded street. We were practically rubbing shoulders and squeezing past people the entire way.

After that point, I can’t remember what happened next.

There was another segment of the dream where the setting felt like the same location as before. I seemed to be going somewhere and needed to retrieve some items from across the way.

To get those items, I first had to cross a bridge. Someone helped me pick up the things, and after that, from what I remember, that was it.

I don't remember who helped me or what items I was actually retrieving.

There was also a part that still confuses me to this day regarding what the story was even about. I seemed to be going somewhere, and somehow, an orange fell into a ditch.

Then, a beautiful little girl appeared and retrieved the orange for me. An older woman was standing near her.

I overheard someone saying that the orange shouldn't be eaten and that it was better to throw it away. After that, the story just faded from my memory.

I also briefly dreamed that I was participating in a motorcycle race. There were tons of contestants. I tried riding as fast as I possibly could, but for some reason, I still fell behind everyone else.

Even though it felt like I was speeding and had initially been at the front of the pack, I don't remember how the race turned out.

Then came a completely random part. I seemed to be handing something that looked like cheese to a foreigner.

The thing I remember most vividly wasn't the conversation, but the smell. The cheese was incredibly foul-smelling. It had a distinct fishy, pungent odor that felt incredibly real inside the dream.

After that, there was another dream that was much more crowded because I was traveling with my family.

We seemed to be going on a road trip together, and we had about four cars in total. There were so many of us, and we brought quite a large stock of food for the trip.

Midway through the journey, we pulled over by the side of the road to take a break. My mother and a few other relatives were across the street chatting, while my uncles stayed inside the car.

I was busy organizing and prepping our food supplies to put them back into the car.

Then, the water in my bottle ran out.

I asked where I should go to refill it from our supplies. One of my uncles replied that there was a water gallon across the street.

But since I was too lazy to cross the road, I decided against getting the water.

As it turned out, one of our cars was practically a rolling refrigerator. It had a chiller fully stocked with food, a water dispenser, and various other supplies. So, I ended up getting a drink from there instead.

At that moment, several relatives were gathering around the car, chatting.

Suddenly, a laughing sound echoed.

The laughter of Miss K. I recognized her voice instantly.

I glanced toward the side of the car and suddenly saw the silhouette of Miss K flying around while laughing. The image was crystal clear, to the point where I could see her figure in quite a bit of detail.

I immediately turned back to the car and tried to refill my water again. But out of nowhere, Miss K descended right next to me.

And as it turned out...

She was absolutely stunning!

I was literally trembling when I looked at her.

She was a woman with long, incredibly silky hair. Her face was beautiful but had a very sweet look to it (not the terrifying face you'd usually imagine when hearing stories about figures like her).

She wore a long white dress that looked pristine and spotlessly clean.

Miss K then looked in my direction.

I just stood there, shaking.

She asked me something. I've forgotten what exactly she asked, but I remember that we actually spoke to each other.

Then, either I or one of my relatives handed her a headscarf. Miss K then put the headscarf on. And instead of looking more frightening, she became even more beautiful.

I can still vividly remember the image of her face wearing that headscarf.

Right after that, I woke up.
